MARRIED

Hello All!!!

So I have been asked to keep this thing going. Pictures are to come, but for now I thought I'd inform you all how the couple days before the wedding went. I will sum it up with one word... WHUR. It was all a big whur right before and even the day of the wedding, I still can't believe it went by so fast.


Travel back to 4 days before the wedding
Tuesday 7/26- Opened presents that had been mailed with both sets of parents...the last present was the best, the keys to our new home!!! So we went over there and popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
Wednesday 7/27- Move my bed and a majority of my stuff, have friends over to wash and put away dishes and pots and pans, pick up Taylor (aka #5) from the airport.
Thursday 7/28- Two beautification appointments in the morning, Leah comes in at noonish, get nails and toes done, unpack some more, visit with grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc., go to church to see the ceremony site, have my bachelorette party at Rock the Keys in Rancho Cucamonga. SO FUN!!!!! (They made me wear a sash, a tiara and a glowing ring).
Friday 7/29- Build centerpieces (which took about 2 hours longer than expected), bring centerpieces to Vellano, bring desserts to Vellano, get ready for rehearsal, (arrive 30mins late for rehearsal... whoops!), go through the rehearsal, have an AMAZING dinner at Kevin's parent's house ( I love the taco man). Stay the night at Danell's, while the guys stay the night at our new house.
Saturday 7/30- WEDDING DAY!!!! ...Forgot my veil and hair clip at Danell's, have my Married Maid of Honor pick it up for me, come back and get my make-up done. Eat lunch at Ms. Linda's, head to church to get dressed, flowers arrive (gorgeous!!), boys arrive at church WHILE we are taking photos out front (bridesmais comment that they have never seen me run to fast), wait in the room as guests begin to arrive, CEREMONY TIME, almost made Kevin cry...almost, PARTY TIME!!! Go home to spend the first night in our new house.
Sunday 7/31- ATM eats $200+, on the phone with BofA for like 45minutes. Leave for Cancun!
Monday 8/1-Saturday 8/6- Relaxing by the pool in paradise.
Saturday 8/6- Fly back to reality. Open the rest of our gifts via skype with my parents.
Sunday 8/7- First church attendance as a married couple. CRAZY! Danell came over and helped me decorate. Built a shelf unit all by myself! Kevin mowed the lawn and set up his music room.
Monday 8/8- Ran some errands, bought chairs for the patio, bought paint! Began paiting the music room... Kevin wasn't too happy that I moved his stuff. Ooops. But it's ok, it's done now.
Tuesday 8/9- Back to work.
